- Students currently in University Division must meet College of Arts and Sciences entrance requirements and declare as pre-BLS through their University Division academic advisor. Be sure to pay attention to announcements from University Division regarding certification deadlines.
- Students currently in another school on campus (BUS, SPH, SPEA, EDUC, MUS, etc.) must meet College of Arts and Sciences entrance requirements and meet with a BLS academic advisor to request a school change.
- Students who are in dismissal status through another school on campus (BUS, SPH, SPEA, EDUC, MUS, etc.) and do NOT meet College of Arts and Sciences entrance requirements may contact the College's Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs to schedule a meeting with a dean to discuss whether the BLS may be an alternative for them. Such a student will be expected to sit out for a period of at least one (1) year.
- Current (or former) Associate of Arts in General Studies students should contact a BLS academic advisor to discuss moving to or enrolling in the BLS degree program.
